Hotel ABION Spreebogen Waterside is located in the city centre of Berlin, next to the river Spree. Thanks to its good location, it is easily accessible by bus, train and subway. The nearest bus station (Kleiner Tiergarten) is only 50 m away from the hotel, the Turmstrasse subway station is about 400 m from it, and the Berlin Central Station is only one stop away (1,5 km). Some of the most popular sights, such as the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate are within a 25-minute walk. Both airports in the city are also not far away – Tegel airport (6km) and Schoenefeld airport (25 km).

The official language of the summit is English.
WEATHER
At that time of the year, the average daily temperature for the city hovers around 5°C (around 41 °F). In the overnight and early morning hours, the temperatures can drop down to 2°C (36 °F), whereas later, during the day, the heights get up to 7°C (45°F). It is advisable to prepare warm clothes, heavy coat or jacket and maybe even a pair of gloves, hat and scarf.
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
The Summit Secretariat and organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
GUEST ATTENDANCE POLICY
All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
VISA
Participants are requested to check with the German consulate or diplomatic mission in their home country or with their travel agency for visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.
OFFICIAL LETTER OF INVITATION
An official letter of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries is available upon request from the summit delegate services. This invitation is meant only to assist participants to obtain a visa and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support.
Applications for invitation letters must be received at least 6 weeks prior to the summit.
